Identifying Risk and Protective Factors

POSIT Plus provides communities with a web-enabled application that combines the existing evidence based Problem Oriented Screening Instrument for Teenagers with the expertise at the Office of Community Research,  Inc.  At its core, POSIT Plus helps individuals to understand key areas of life -- family, friends, activities and behaviors -- and how those areas impact at risk behaviors and decision making.

POSIT Plus helps communities accurately screen youth  risks on the individual level and to identify risks and behavioral trends at the larger community or regional level. As a result, teens are quickly directed to the proper resources or treatment and organizations can identify and address risks within their own community. Read more
